ONGOING STARTING SEPTEMBER | Join Gatherings. Network & Connect. Learn & Explore.

• Community Gatherings & Speaker Series in Cambridge, Greater Boston, and across New England - in person and virtually. Hosted by Humansphere Foundation and American AI Institute, in partnership with our Corporate Partners, Academic Partners & Community Partners.

BY OCTOBER 1, 2025 | Choose Challenge. Form/Join a Team. Register for Space Apps Cambridge.

• Form a Team/Join a Team, and register your Team and Challenge on or before September 30 - October 1, 2025 with NASA Space Apps Cambridge and NASA Global Space Apps. Register early if you want to join, as NASA Space Apps Cambridge also has a capacity limit. Once we reach our limit, we will refer Registrants we cannot accommodate (or Registrants that are not authenticated) to join the Universal Event instead.

• Choose a Challenge. Form and/or Find a Team. Review the NASA Space Apps Challenge Summaries and the Challenge Statements. Choose a Challenge you’d like to work on. Form and/or join a Team that wants to work on that Challenge. Feel free to create a Team and invite your friends to join your Team!

• Register your Team with NASA Space Apps before October 1. Make sure every Member of your Team is registered on our Eventbrite before October 1 so that our Team can authenticate you. You will need to show our Team either a Current University ID (for students) or a Current Government-issued ID (for all non-students).

• Authentication: Only authenticated Participants will be cleared for Final Registration with the NASA Space Apps International Challenge.

OCTOBER 3-5, 2025 | Participate in NASA International Space Apps Challenge | Cambridge, New England - in person or virtually.

• October 3. Launch & Viewing Parties: Virtual and in-person launches of NASA International Space Apps Challenge across Cambridge, Greater Boston, and New England.

• October 4-5. Collaborate with your teams to finish your NASA Space Apps Challenge Project. Submit your project before the deadline of 11:59pm EST October 5, 2025.

OCTOBER - DECEMBER 2025 | Judging & Awarding Period.

• October - NASA Space Apps Cambridge Jury Adjudication: The NASA Space Apps Cambridge Jury will evaluate all entries submitted by all teams in the NASA Space Apps Cambridge hackathon for the Local Awards. Global Nominees from NASA Space Apps Cambridge will be announced after one week.

• October to December - Global Awards Adjudication: Experts from NASA, Space Agency Partners, and industry will evaluate the projects and select the Global Finalists and Global Winners. Your Team will be notified if you’ve been selected as a Global Finalist or Global Winner.

• December - NASA will announce the Global Finalists from among the Global Nominees.

• December - Local Award Winners are announced by NASA Space Apps Cambridge.

JANUARY 2025 | Global Winners Announcement.

• Global Winners are announced by the NASA International Space Apps Challenge Global Team.

• Local Award Winners are invited to present/showcase work at Humansphere Emerging Leaders Summit & Festival.

FEBRUARY 2025 | NASA Space Apps Cambridge Awards Ceremonies.

• NASA Space Apps Cambridge will host gatherings for all Participants and award Achievement Certificates.

• Participants are invited to join the NASA Space Apps Cambridge Awards Ceremonies honoring Local Award Winners and Global Nominees.
